Compatible with your favorite gas chromatograph.
The Single Auto-Sampler (SAS100) is designed to work with gas chromatographs that measure gas samples, and it injects these gas samples via an automated gas sample valve. The user sets the temperature to heat the sample – usually contained in a steel cylinder under pressure – and the time to bake the sample cylinder. The user then places the sample cylinder in the oven, makes the tubing connection, and starts the sampler.

The following gas chromatographs are compatible with the included Remote Start cable with every SAS100:
- Agilent 6890, 7890A/B, 8890 Gas Chromatographs
- Agilent 7820A, 8850, 8860 Single-Channel Gas Chromatographs
- Agilent Intuvo 9000 Gas Chromatographs
- Shimadzu Gas Chromatographs
- Thermo Gas Chromatographs

How the SAS100 works with your gas chromatograph
The SAS100 is designed to work with your gas chromatograph to automate the process of loading and analyzing your samples. Use your standard chromatographic methods and your normal datasystem. The process is simple:
- Load your compatible sample cylinder
- Load your analyzer method using your standard data system
- Define your sample name
- Press “Start” on your SAS100
- The SAS100 automatically heats the sample cylinder to the desired temperature
- Sample is purged through your sample valve (or valves)
- Sample is equilibrated in the sample loop(s)
- The SAS100 automatically starts the gas chromatograph via the remote start cable
- The SAS100 optionally begins cooling down the sample cylinder to decrease turn-around time
